Themes

The Australian Soil Resource Information System (ASRIS) will provide access to information and data products for a number of themes. Themes are being developed to assist users to quickly view data of a topic of interest without having to negotiate the many data layers on the ASRIS maps page. Nutrient Management and Crop Modelling theme pages are currently available. The link to maps on the Crop Modelling theme page optimises the ASRIS mapping application to include only those layers pertinent to the theme (i.e. significantly reduces the number of layers).

Themes that will be available in the near future include soil acidity, carbon and monitoring.
